  • I’d love to hire your games - how do I make a booking?
    If you would like to book a package or hire any of our games simply fill out the online booking form here or send us an email at urbanyardgames@gmail.com with your name, date of event, location of event and whether you would like delivery. We will then send you a quote based on the hire cost per package/game, delivery (if applicable), and a refundable damages bond. Once your event requirements are finalised, we’ll send you a deposit invoice to secure your booking.
  • What are your payment options?
    Urban Yard Games accepts payments by cash, or electronic funds transfer to our bank account. Bank account details are provided on your invoice.
  • Do you deliver?
    Yes we do. Urban Yard Games is based in Malaga, Perth and we can deliver or pick up anywhere in the Perth Metro area - just let us know where your event is and we can quote on Delivery for you, or you can collect from us in Malaga..
  • How long is your hire period?
    Generally hire is Friday to Monday (we also cater for mid-week events), however if you require hire outside of these days, let us know and we will do our best to accoomodate!
  • Will your games fit in my car?
    We have ever so carefully picked and built our games so that they fit into most car boots and back seats. The majority of the games are under 1m, with our largest game (Connect 4) measuring 1080mm x 720mm (board) and 1145mm high (legs). Our heaviest game is Jenga at 22kg.
  • Oops! What happens if we lose or break one of the games?
    To help protect the quality and aesthetics of our games and equipment, we require a returnable Damage Bond on all items and/or packages. Once the goods are returned on time and in good condition the bond will be returned in full. If any item is damaged beyond repair you will be charged a replacement fee. To help ensure that all items on the order are accounted for, you will receive a checklist of games and associated equipment upon the final payment of your order. Your final payment indicates your acceptance of Urban Yard Game’s hire terms and conditions, including responsibility for returning the rented items on time and in their “as rented” condition.
  • Oh dear! We have to cancel our booking....what is your cancellation policy?
    If you want to cancel your booking for any reason, please email us on urbanyardgames@outlook.com. Note your $50 deposit is non refundable after 5 days. If you cancel your booking less than two weeks out from your event, and have already paid the final payment, you will be eligible for a 75% refund of the hire package balance, and will lose your $50 deposit. Please note that our non-refundable deposit ensures that the equipment is available for those who wish to make a booking, and in the event of a cancellation, the $50 deposit covers our administration costs and potential loss of income.
